Highly educated professionals

Dorfl Leadership Training & Coaching is founded by Leonie de Vree, who collaborates with other independent trainers and executive coaches in larger projects. Our clients are highly educated, refreshingly independent professionals in leadership roles. We frequently work with leaders in research & education as well as tech entrepreneurs.

As a small agency, we did a number of long-term projects for large organizations. For example, a leadership program for TU Delft that ran for about 10 years, with around 250 leaders (from both academic and support roles) participating. We also conducted a leadership program for Utrecht University, with about 100 leaders participating in 6 years. We also offer both short-term and long-term programs for small and medium-sized organizations. We work extensively with scale-up entrepreneurs, with Leonie typically walking with their company for an average of 3 years.

Leonie de Vree

As a leadership trainer, executive coach and as a person, for me there is nothing more beautiful than learning. I find it truly inspiring every time someone gains an insight that suddenly creates space for a new approach. I love helping people turn such insights into a deeply personal way of working and leading.

I love learning myself as well—I’m always taking a course or training and enjoy learning both from and with my clients.

I highly appreciate equal and informal working relationships. I think that the opinion of clients and participants about this is more informative to you than me telling a story.

What happens with your money?

A standard salary covers the living expenses of my dog Suus and me. A significant amount of time and money goes into education, training, retreats, and stacks of books to ensure high-quality service.

And as a client, you make it possible to dedicate time to volunteer work: as a board member (at The Buddha Project), as a visitor for incarcerated individuals (through Stichting Vrij) and by documenting the life stories of people with broken social networks (via Walk of Life).
